Open kitchen remodel: Removing a wall between the dining room and kitchen.
Hard to believe this is the same space!

In this open kitchen remodel, we kept the lower part of the wall that was removed. Notice we used a bit more of the wall on the right side of the island. It was a great place to add the backsplash tile, and separate the workspace and casual counter dining.

Notice the low wall in the foreground below is a tall wall in the foreground above. Orient yourself on the wood stove, and it makes sense.
The peninsula above was removed, and the island below was added. Orient yourself on the sliding door in the background.
